Instructions and Help about Why Form 1120 C Employment

I would like to start working for my corporation as its first full-time employee and receive benefits. Should I accept a 1099 or a W-2 employee? By issuing yourself a 1099, you're just producing self-employment income for yourself. I would rather run those expenses through the corporation. What's more important about that is that it's just kind of fun. You guys all know the answer to this, now it's like goodbye my question. Where is it? I love technology when it's not working. In order to receive French benefits, what do you have to be? An employee, right? So we actually need to be an employee. If you have a choice, you're never going to be a 1099 of your own corporation, period. It's just not going to happen. You're going to be destined to be an employee of an organization. If you are a director or an officer, by default, you're considered an employee if you start receiving compensation. Now, it doesn't mean that it's always 100%. There are certain cases where I've seen clients that have farmed out their directorships and they'll do that underneath the company. They'll be a designated representative for the company, but they're controlled by an employee agreement. The company that is paying knows that they're paying a company, in which case, then they could be treated as an independent contractor. Let me see, oh, there we go. Look at all these wonderful questions that are coming through. So we'll start going through those. That's question number one.
