Hey everybody, it's Jason Calacanis and this is another episode of This Week in Startups, the podcast where we talk about technology startups, angel investing, and all that great stuff. We've just started doing a new feature, live Collins. That's right, and today we're going to take live Collins. We have our first caller on the line. Her name is Elizabeth. Elizabeth, are you there? Jason: Our happy Friday to you. Elizabeth: Happy Friday to you, Jason! Jason: Where are you calling from? Elizabeth: I'm in Greenville, South Carolina, which is the sort of mini Silicon Valley of the southeast. It's an awesome little town that's growing, has a really vibrant tech community, lots of great startups here, lots of support. It's a fantastic place to be right now. Jason: That's fantastic! We have a rule here with angel investing: Never undereanybody, and a great founder can come from anywhere. So while in the book, I say in chapter 5, "Listen, if you want to be a great angel investor, you have to be here in Silicon Valley because that's where a lot of the big deals are," we are spending our time going and finding the best founders from each of the different cities around the world and bringing them to Silicon Valley to plug them into the investor network...
