Hi, I'm David McCree, a CPA. My goal is to help nonprofit organizations avoid paying ridiculous penalties to the IRS because they failed to file their Form 990 on time. According to the law, if an organization can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the IRS that they had a reasonable cause for filing the form late, the IRS will waive or remove the penalties. For over a decade, I have been writing reasonable cause abatement request letters to the IRS and have had great success. I can show you how to do the same. On my website, I offer materials that teach you how to write a successful penalty abatement request letter. I offer three different levels of information. Firstly, you can order the ebook package, which is an electronic package delivered instantly after your order. It includes a detailed e-book with about 100 pages of instructions on how to structure your letter using my five-step system. The package also includes a Microsoft Word file with a letter template to help you get started. Additionally, you will receive seven example letters based on common situations and reasonable cause arguments. You can use these letters as a guide and adapt them to your own situation. Starting from December 2012, I have made the e-book available as a printed manual due to popular demand. This printed manual serves as an excellent desk reference with about 150 pages of information, identical to the e-book. It also includes the letter template and the seven sample letters.
